Qatar Airways Aims to be the First Middle East Airline to Trial the IATA Travel Pass 

Qatar Airways will launch the innovative new IATA Travel Pass ‘Digital Passport’ mobile app, in partnership with the International Air Transport Association (IATA), from March 2021. The first phase of trials will be rolled out on the airline’s Doha to Istanbul route, enabling passengers to receive COVID-19 test results and verify they are eligible to undertake their journey. Singapore Airlines To Pilot One-Stop Online Solution For Covid-19 Pre-departure Testing

Singapore Airlines, recently awarded the Diamond rating in the APEX Health Safety powered by SimpliFlying audit of global airlines, is launching a new portal service for travellers to book their pre-departure Covid-19 tests and receive their results on a one-stop online portal. Cathay Pacific Resuming Flights to London Heathrow

Cathay Pacific will resume flight services from Hong Kong to London Heathrow (LHR) from 12 January in order to assist customers needing to travel to the UK. Flights of CX251 are intended to operate to London Heathrow on 12, 14, 15, 17, 18, 21 and 24 January. While all flights departing from the UK to Hong Kong will continue to be suspended until 25 January in view of the HKSAR Government’s entry restrictions. News Source: Cathay Pacific
